As a former people pleaser, I spent many years making (or should I say trying to make) my bosses and teams happy. But the truth of the matter is, your real value is defined by what YOU think, feel, and believe about yourself…not what degree you have, the title in your email signature, or whether your boss thinks you deserve that promotion.
